I run my business “Kirsty McCall Hair & Make up artists”. I am a Freelance Hair & Make up artist, I do all kinds of work including Bridal, Hairdressing, Catwalk/photographic Hair & Make up. I have a 3 fantastic Hair & Make up artists that work for me. I started my 0wn business in 2006, its is going really well as i go in to my 6th year!
I trained at the London College of Fashion then did work experience with Nicky Clarke and Terence Renati. I moved to Toni&Guy where I trained & specialised in cutting. I then moved into Mens Barbering. I have also worked In Selfridges for Bobbi Brown and Smashbox cosmetics as well as Bluewater where I was a manager for Clinique.
8 years ago I joined a hair and beauty agency where i did solely weddings and i haven’t looked back since! Wedding are so exciting and even after 8 years i still love meeting a new bride and helping her to achieve her dream look for the most special day of her life! This is why nearly 6 years ago i decided to start my own hair & make up business for mainly weddings, i have such a passion and love for my work, i feel very lucky to be able to do my dream job! Most of my work is for weddings but my Husband Dan and I work together doing photoshoots for advertising and fashion.
I got married in March 2011 to my wonderful husband Daniel. We had been together 5 years on our wedding day and we are pleased to announce that we are expecting our first baby in January 2012!! I will continue working once i have had the baby but only on a Friday and Saturday. I will still do all my emailing and booking in everyday during the week and my 3 other hair and make up artists will be available 7 days a week.
Dan & I got married at Rayavadee on Railay Beach in Krabi Thailand. We had the most amazing wedding photographer fly out from the UK to take our wedding photographs, Kerry Morgan took the most stunning photographs of our wedding day, we couldn’t be more happy with the photos.
